Monday: After breakfast at 8 a.m. we will hit the road for Marennes, where you will visit the oyster parks where oysters (some of the best in the world)are raised , the vivifying air of the coast will whet everyone’s appetite for a tasting of fresh oysters for lunch with good French bread and crisp white wine. Then we will go to La Rochelle where the King’s corsair ships were anchored in the 16th , 17th, and 18th centuries. La Rochelle, an old fortified city, will be waiting for our wisit and a dinner in a well- known seafood Restaurant will close our day before ou return to the Chateau De Crazannes. |
